When you register for an event, tokens are locked in an on-chain escrow vault. Attend and scan your QR — the contract marks you as checked-in and releases your stake after the unlock time. Don't show up and the organizer can configure partial or full forfeiture.
The venue scans the attendee's QR code. This triggers a
check_in
instruction on-chain, marking the registration as attended and
unlocking the refund claim.
Native SOL, standard SPL tokens, and Token-2022 tokens are all supported. The organizer sets the accepted token when creating the event.
Organizers pay a flat fee per attendee slot at event creation — not a percentage of revenue. Attendees are never charged a platform fee. Example: 100-capacity event × 0.0005 SOL = 0.05 SOL total.
